Reservations

All provisional reservations are subject to availability will only be confirmed once a deposit has been received. We are not obligated to hold a provisional reservation.

All prices quoted are starting rated only and will be influence if any requirements are added or changed.

Only the number of guests booked in a room or unit will be permitted. Penalties will be charge if the limit is exceeded.

Any accommodation or venue booked will only be confirmed once 50% deposited has been received

Riviera Hotel will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal items.
In the case of lost/forgotten items that has been found, it is the responsibility of the guest to contact the Riviera Hotel and collect these items within 7 days.

Under no circumstances may the furniture, equipment, linen or towels in any room or unit be removed, any damage to the mentioned will be billed to your account.
Towels are not to be used as beach towel.
If any items are missing when you are check it, it is your (guest) responsibility to inform the reception immediately.

Swimming pool

The rules and regulations of the swimming pool are implemented to protect our guests as well as the staff members and management.
Should you fail to comply with our terms and conditions we will kindly suggest that you leave the swimming pool area.
Riviera Hotel, its’ managers and staff members will not be held responsible for any injuries or loss/damage of property while using the swimming pool.
Appropriate swimwear is required.
No children under 14 years are allowed to swim without adult supervision.
No jumping, diving or running into the swimming pool will be allowed.
No glasses in the swimming pool.
The swimming pool area falls under the Driftwood Restaurant and Riviera Hotels’ Ladies Bar and will not allow any alcohol, other drinks or food that is not supplies by us on the premises.

Bar and Restaurant

Riviera Hotel’s ladies bar is a fully licensed cash bar.
No other drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) may be brought on the premises without consent.
Corkage fee will be charged for wines not supplied by the Riviera Hotel.
We are a family orientated establishment and we reserve the right of admission and /or continued admission to this property for those who comply with our terms and conditions.
No alcohol will be served to/ for any persons under the age of 18 years old.

Pets and other Animals

We regret that no pets or any other animals are permitted on the premises of the Riviera Hotel.

Smoking

All our rooms and units are non-smoking. We request that guests smoke outside and in the allocated smoking areas.

Key & Remote plus Refundable Deposit

This deposit is payable on arrival in cash, R300.00(ZAR) and refundable on departure when handing in you room key and remote.

Cancellation

Cancellation and/or amendments must be made in writing, via fax or e-mail and will attract the following charge:
10% administration fee on all cancelled bookings
More than 30 days prior to arrival: 10% cancellation fee
More than 7 days prior to arrival: 60% cancellation fee
Less than 7 days prior to arrival: 100% cancellation fee

Arrival and Departure

Check in times are from 2pm till 7pm on the day of arrival. Arrangements must be made for late arrivals
Check out time is 10am on the day of departure.
R100.00(ZAR) penalty will be charge on every hour of late departure unless prior arrangements have been made.

Age Limit

We are essentially providing a family/business accommodation and it is our preference not to accept booking from groups of young people under the age of 21 years. This policy is not intended to be discriminatory, but to protect ours and the other guest’s interests.

Parking

There is parking for one car on site per reservation, additional parking should be arranged when booking is made and confirmed.

Complaints

We try to take every care to prepare our hotel rooms and units to the highest standards, whereby our guests will enjoy their stay, if any problems or cause for complaint does arise, please inform reception immediately. Every effort will be made to assist you or to find a solution. Should we not be informed it will not be possible to follow procedures.
